Aqillo-sport - Kompetisi Liga 1 akan memasuki pekan ke 31 yang mempertemukan PSM Makasar melawan Persija Jakarta. Kedua klub merupakan tim papan atas yang akan memperebutkan gelar juara Liga 1.
Di sisi lain, perebutan juara di liga 1 akan segera berakhir, diperkirakan berakhir pada tanggal 9 Desember 2018. Dari klasemen sementara liga 1 terjadi persaingan sengit dari posisi 1 sampai 3 klasemen. Inilah 3 kandidat terkuat juara yakni PSM Makassar, Persija Jakarta serta Persib Bandung.
Tentu saja dari tiga tim papan atas itulah yang menjadi sorotan untuk memperebutkan gelar juara. Dan juga menjadi kandidat terkuat juara liga 1.
Sementara itu, Pelatih dari salah satu kandidat juara memfavoritkan Persib Bandung untuk menjadi pesaingnya dalam perebutan mahkota juara. Pelatih Persija Jakarta Stefano Cugurra Teco memfavoritkan Persib dan memberikan penilaian terhadap kans Persib Bandung juara Liga 1 musim 2018.
Menurut Teco kalau pekan-pekan terakhir Liga 1 kali ini sangat ketat dalam perebutan gelar juara. Sehingga Teco tengah mempersiapkan Persija untuk berjuang mati-matian. "Saya beranggapan kalau ada beberapa tim yang memiliki peluang juara, Persib salah satunya. Jadi kami akan bekerja sangat keras di latihan serta pertandingan sisa," kata Teco. Akan tetapi, Persija Jakarta akan berusaha keras untuk bersaing dalam perebutan puncak klasemen. Persija mengharapkan kemenangan saat pertandingan melawan PSM Makasar.
